Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser:
Grace Lutheran Church, on the corner of Garner St. and Beaver Ave., downtown State College, will be holding its fourth annual Nicaragua Medical Mission Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. The dinner is on Friday, January 27th (snow date: Saturday, January 28th) and includes fresh bread, a side salad, a generous plate of spaghetti topped with meatballs (if desired) and dessert. Dinner is served from 5:00-7:00pm and is available to EAT IN OR TAKE OUT! Suggested donation of $8.00/adult and $4.00/child. Tickets will be sold at the door and in advance after Sunday services in January and in the church office during regular office hours. For questions, call the church office at 814-238-2478.
"Circle of Hope" a meeting for special needs children & families, will meeting the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Tyrone Public Library. This group will be addressing concerns in an informal setting on aspects of raising a child with special needs, treatments, education, advocacy/legal issues, behavior, etc. The next meeting is January 12.
